We buy from different depots across Nigeria by trucking. Our decision to buy is determined by product quality and not giving much priority to the cheapest source. Therefore, we do not have affiliation to any depot.

How do I know quality diesel?

Unfortunately, many Nigerians check how quality diesel is by odor. For the few ones who take it a step further, they check density through the use of hydrometer. At Aveolar, we believe in due diligence. Beyond density check, we carry out other rigorous quality check to ensure that we supply premium quality product. Therefore, customers are guaranteed a very high quality diesel when they buy from us.

What is diesel adulteration why do some diesel suppliers adulterate?

A.

According to NNPC, 2007 (7), Adulteration is defined as the introduction of foreign substance into fuel illegally and unauthorized with the result that the product does not conform to the requirement and specifications of the products. It is the mixture of kerosene and/or other chemical substance to diesel. Some suppliers do it is to increase their profit by reducing the cost of diesel and neglecting the damages it causes to machines (vehicles etc) and the harmful effect on human. Their erroneous idea is that customers and prospects in Nigeria get attracted to cheap product since they (suppliers) will be able to sell at a very cheap rate lesser than the rate they buy at the depot and open market rate at the fuel stations.
